Fierce By Design provides wellness, nutrition, and fitness coaching — education and accountability, not medical, mental-health, or registered-dietitian treatment, diagnosis, or therapy. Always consult your physician before starting a new nutrition or exercise program. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.
What I do — and what I don't
Fierce By Design Coaching provides health and wellness coaching, nutrition coaching, and personal training. What that means in practice is education (helping you understand how food, movement, sleep, and stress work), programming (building a plan that fits your actual life), and accountability (showing up with you until it sticks).
I am a coach and personal trainer. I am not a physician, physician assistant, nurse, physical therapist, psychologist, therapist, licensed counselor, or registered dietitian. I do not practice medicine, mental-health therapy, or medical nutrition therapy.
Nothing I say, write, program, or publish — on this website, in a session, in a message, or in any material I provide — diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease, injury, or condition. It is not a prescription and it is not a treatment plan.
Talk to your doctor first
Please consult your physician or another qualified healthcare provider before starting any nutrition or exercise program, including mine. That's especially important if you:
- Have a medical condition of any kind, including heart, metabolic, hormonal, or autoimmune conditions
- Have a current or past injury, or chronic pain
- Are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are postpartum
- Take prescription medication or manage a condition with supplements
- Have a history of disordered eating
- Have been inactive for a long stretch, or simply aren't sure
If your doctor tells you something different than I do, follow your doctor. Their guidance outranks mine, always.
Not a substitute for medical advice
This website and my coaching are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice, and never delay seeking it, because of something you read here or something I said.
If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Exercise carries real risk
Physical activity involves an inherent risk of injury — including muscle and joint injury and, though rare, serious cardiac events. Participation in any program is voluntary. You know your body better than I do: stop if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath, and get medical attention.
Results vary — and nothing is guaranteed
Your body, your history, your schedule, your stress, your sleep, and your consistency all shape what happens. Any story or result shared on this site is one woman's experience, not a prediction of yours and not a promise. I do not guarantee any specific outcome — in weight, body composition, energy, performance, or health.
If you're struggling — please read this
If you are in crisis, or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7 in the United States). If you're in immediate danger, call 911. Please don't wait for our next session.
If an eating disorder or disordered eating is part of your story — past or present — that deserves care from a qualified medical professional, a licensed therapist, or a registered dietitian who specializes in it. That is outside my scope as a coach. I will refer you out, and I'll do it without judgment. If it comes up while we're working together, I may pause or stop coaching until you're supported by the right professional, because continuing wouldn't be safe for you.
